Gaza Strip: 21 killed in Israeli targeting of school-turned-shelter

Twenty-one Palestinians were killed and 30 injured when Israeli forces bombed a school housing refugees in the Al Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of Gaza City, according to the government media office.

The occupation army carried out “a horrendous massacre” by bombing the school that sheltered thousands of displaced people, inflicting the casualties, most of them children and women, it said in a statement.

The media office held the occupation forces and the US administration fully responsible for the ongoing genocide and massacres against civilians and the targeting of schools and shelters.

It also appealed to the international community and UN organizations to pressure the occupation authority to stop these crimes and the bleeding in Gaza.
