The Islamic Charity Center Society (ICCS), in cooperation with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), distributed 600 sacrificial animals, amounting to 25 tonnes to eligible beneficiaries in the Gaza Strip, after the society manufactured and packaged the aid according to advanced health standards.
According to an ICCS statement, its chairman, Mamdouh Muhaisen, said the relief assistance is an “important” part of implementing the society’s annual sacrificial meat project to help Gaza people to alleviate their ordeal.
Muhaisen stressed that the initiative was implemented in “full” compliance with health conditions and standards and official procedures that ensure its safe and healthy delivery to the Palestinian coastal enclave.
Furthermore, he expressed thanks to the donors, who contributed to launch this aid campaign.
Muhaisen noted the total number of cans sent to Gaza approximately stood at 30, 000, each weighs roughly 850 grams and is valid for use for two years without the need for refrigera
tion.
