KSrelief Provides Houses to Earthquake-Affected People in Syria’s Aleppo

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has provided over 40 houses to people affected by an earthquake in Al-Bab City, Aleppo Governorate, Syrian Arab Republic. This effort is part of the second phase of a project aimed at providing shelter and rehabilitating homes for families in the city impacted by the earthquake.

The project seeks to rehabilitate 743 houses for families whose homes were slightly or moderately damaged. It also aims to equip 31 temporary housing units as an alternative for families most affected by the earthquake who have become homeless.

Additionally, the project will restore homes to their pre-earthquake condition by repairing basic and service-related elements and replacing damaged components. Homes and temporary housing units will also be outfitted with essentials such as solar-powered electricity, modern water tanks, and ventilation systems, among other necessities. This initiative will benefit 4,500 individuals.

This assistance is part of the humanitarian an
d relief projects carried out by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to support those affected by the earthquake in Syria.
