National Center for Archives and Records Highlights Saudi-Qatar Cooperation at Riyadh Book Fair

The National Center for Archives and Records is showcasing at the Riyadh International Book Fair four historical documents highlighting the cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

In honor of Qatar, which is the guest of honor at the fair, the center has displayed documents dating back to the reign of King Faisal bin Abdulaziz and King Khalid bin Abdulaziz that shed light on various areas of cooperation between the two countries.

A document, from 1383 AH, is a Royal Decree ratifying the economic agreement between Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Another, from 1388 AH, is a Royal Decree signed by King Faisal bin Abdulaziz, approving a cultural agreement between Saudi Arabia and Qatar. A third document, dated 1391 AH, is a Royal Decree approving the agreement regulating the entry and exit of cars between Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

The fourth, from 1397 AH, is a Royal Decree signed by King Fahd bin Abdulaziz, the deputy king at the time, approving the media and cultural agreement between the two countries.
