Tahrir Square in Sana’a hosts scout youth festival to ignite eternal flame of September 26 revolution


This evening, Tahrir Square in the capital city of Sana’a hosted a scout youth festival. The event, which included the lighting of the flame, marked the 62nd anniversary of the eternal September 26 revolution. The Ministry of Youth and Sports organized it in collaboration with the Scouts and Guides Association.

The ceremony commenced with verses from the Holy Quran and the Republican Peace, attended by the Ministers of Defense and Military Production, Major General Mohammed Al-Atifi, Youth and Sports Dr. Muhammad Ali Al-Mawlid, and the Mayor of the Capital, Dr. Hamoud Abbad. Muhammad Al-Matari, the leader of the Scout Youth Parade, sought permission to begin the presentation.

After that, the cubs and young scouts passed in front of the celebration platform, in the form of a parade in which the participants embodied the six goals of the Yemeni revolution and its great principles, and shouted the slogans of freedom expressing the greatness and status of this national revolution in the hearts and conscience o
f Yemenis.

The youth scout show, accompanied by military music and patriotic music, expressed the great significance of the Yemeni people’s joys at the advent of this eternal occasion, and their joy at the 62nd anniversary of the eternal September 26 revolution.
