138 Agreements Worth over SAR13.3 billion Signed at Global Health Exhibition

Riyadh, The Global Health Exhibition, held by the Ministry of Health over three days, ended yesterday, having been visited by over 111,000 local and international visitors.

At the event, held under the theme “Invest in Health” and where over 300 local, regional and international companies, from 29 countries, presented the latest healthcare innovations and technologies in digital health, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies, 138 agreements, memoranda of understanding and deals worth over SAR13.3 billion were signed.

A session in which ministers and decision makers discussed investment in the Saudi health sector, and a meeting between Minister of Health Fahad Al-Jalajel and owners of hospitals and small establishments with whom he discussed investment opportunities in technology, research, innovation, and digital health solutions were held in the course of the event.

The exhibition, in its sixth edition, offered health practitioners 30-credit-hour of Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs, presented by 100 speakers at 30 dialogue sessions; the programs were Leaders Forum, Future of Radiology, Nursing, Future of Medical Laboratory, Joint Commission International (JCI) Accredited Hospitals, Healthcare Quality, Preventive Health, and Health Financing and Revenue Cycle Management.

There were several pavilions at the exhibition: an investment pavilion that highlighted the latest government initiatives and developments in the health sector, a medical laboratories pavilion that showed cutting-edge medical innovations and techniques, a pavilion for emerging companies that presented the most prominent innovations that changed the health care industry, and a pavilion for interactive platforms that enabled participants to communicate and socialize.

A fifth pavilion, for innovation, witnessed a large turnout of visitors; it presented Seha Virtual Hospital, a project launched by the ministry, and its cutting-edge technologies, such as metaverse technologies and artificial intelligence laboratory, as well as a competition for startup companies and a medical program, among other activities.

The Global Health Exhibition gets international recognition. It is one of the most prominent events in health care that attracts local, regional and international companies to showcase the latest innovations and technologies in the medical and health fields. Its many specialized conferences and workshops ensure a valuable and distinctive experience for visitors.
