The 162nd session of the Council of the Arab League at the level of permanent representatives was held today at the headquarters of the league’s General Secretariat.
Saudi Permanent Representative to the league Ambassador Abdulaziz Al Matar headed the Kingdom’s delegation to the session.
Discussed at the session were several topics in the political, economic, social, legal, financial, and administrative fields.
Al Matar also participated in the follow-up committee meeting on implementing the Arab Summit resolutions and commitments, which was chaired by the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The meeting’s purpose was to discuss the semi-annual report on the implementation of decisions issued by the last Arab summit held in Bahrain before submitting it to the committee’s meeting at the ministerial level scheduled for Tuesday.
