Nigeria Floods Claim Over 150 Lives in Mokwa

Mokwa: More than 150 people have died in Nigeria and over 3,000 have been displaced due to floods that hit the town of Mokwa in the centre of the country. Search and rescue teams have been deployed to look for bodies or missing persons. Local authorities told media that 121 people were injured and dozens are still missing. According to Emirates News Agency, the floods destroyed 250 homes and swept away two bridges.
