Abu dhabi: At least 22 people were injured on Saturday after a powerful explosion struck an agrochemical plant on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, Argentina. According to Emirates News Agency, the blast shattered windows in nearby neighbourhoods around the industrial zone, and local reports said the Ezeiza city hospital, near the site of the incident, received several people suffering cuts from broken glass and burn injuries. Dementia Becomes Australia’s Leading Cause of Death for First Time

Sydney: Dementia was the leading cause of death in Australia in 2024, becoming the country’s top killer disease for the first time on record, according to official data released on Friday. According to Emirates News Agency, the data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) revealed that dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease, overtook ischaemic heart diseases as the country’s leading cause of death last year.
