According to the Ministry of Commerce’s business sector bulletin for Q2 2023, the number of commercial registers for promising sectors in the Kingdom, such as the cinema, arts and entertainment sectors, has grown.
The bulletin showed a growth in the film production sector by the end of Q2 2023 by 28%, with more than 1,700 registers issued, compared to more than 1,300 at the end of Q2 2022.
It also showed that most registers were in Riyadh (953 registers), followed by Makkah (501 registers), the Eastern region (155 registers), Madinah (51 registers), and Qassim (22 registers).
