3 Killed, 14 Wounded in Air Attack on Kyiv

Three people were killed, including two children, and 14 others were wounded in an air attack by Russian forces, targeting the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv earlier Thursday.

The Kiev City Military Administration said that unfortunately, the number of victims of the Russian air attack is increasing.

According to preliminary information from rescuers, two of the dead were children, Kiev Mayor Vitale Klitschko added that the dead children were between the ages of 5 and 12.

Air raid alerts in Kyiv and much of eastern Ukraine remained in effect for about an hour.

On Feb. 24, 2022, Russia launched a military operation in Ukraine, and to end it, Moscow requires Kyiv to abandon plans to join military entities, which the latter considers an "interference" in its sovereignty.
