The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, in cooperation with some non-profit organizations, has distributed 36,000 Iftar meals to worshippers in the Grand Mosque of Makkah on Ashura Day, which fell on the 10th of Muharram.
A presidency representative said that 150 employees of both genders helped distribute the meals at designated places in the mosque.
