Abu dhabi: Forty Arab youth from 13 countries were celebrated for their accomplishments in social impact, innovation, and regional development at the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy in Abu Dhabi. The event, the fourth edition of 'Young Arab Pioneers,' highlighted the achievements of these individuals across 10 specialised tracks.
According to Emirates News Agency, the ceremony took place under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, emphasizing the UAE's dedication to empowering Arab youth. This initiative aims to inspire leadership and foster collaboration, thereby creating a significant impact across the Arab world.
The ceremony saw the presence of prominent figures such as Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi and Sheikh Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, along with other officials and partners. Al Nuaimi reiterated the UAE's strategic priority of empowering young pioneers, asserting that the initiative places youth at the heart of development and future planning.
In his keynote address, Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi emphasized the importance of the initiative as a bridge for empowerment and opportunity. He praised the young pioneers for their dedication to serving as role models and for their commitment to community-oriented projects.
A significant announcement at the event was the signing of a sponsorship agreement with Tiger Group, offering AED1 million in financial support under the Platinum 'Al Shahama' package. Three Arab Youth Pioneers were selected to receive direct financial backing, highlighting their innovative contributions and community impact.
The event also recognized supporting institutions such as the Abu Dhabi Business Youth Council and Tiger Group for their contributions to fostering an entrepreneurial environment. Additional partners honored included various renowned organizations from both the public and private sectors.
A special session titled 'From Narratives to Policies: Arab Youth and Global Impact-Making,' led by Sheikh Abdulla Al Hamed, explored the role of Arab youth in global discussions and policy shaping. The session underscored the importance of media as a platform to amplify Arab talent on a global stage.
The recognition ceremony concluded with the announcement of the 'Manarat Al Rowad Package' by the Abu Dhabi Youth Business Council. This package offers a one-year premium membership to participants, providing consultations and support to establish businesses and ensure project sustainability.
The 'Young Arab Pioneers' initiative aims to unify the Arab entrepreneurial landscape through activities and workshops, enhancing the skills and capabilities of young pioneers.
