Abdullah Bin Zayed Engages in Diplomatic Talks with UK Foreign Secretary in London

Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Ed Miliband, Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom, in London. The meeting focused on discussing mutual interests and exploring avenues to strengthen ties between the UAE and the UK across various sectors.

According to Emirates News Agency, at the commencement of the meeting, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed extended his congratulations to Ed Miliband on his recent appointment as the United Kingdom's Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs. He expressed his wishes for Miliband's success in the role and his eagerness to collaborate closely to enhance bilateral cooperation, promoting prosperity and well-being for both nations.

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan emphasized the strong relationship between the UAE and the UK, underlining the shared commitment to fortifying these ties and expanding cooperation across numerous sectors. The discussions also encompassed the current situation in the Middle East, regional developments, and strategies to bolster regional and international efforts towards peace, security, and stability.

The meeting saw the participation of Mansoor Abdullah Abulhoul, UAE Ambassador to the United Kingdom, highlighting the importance of diplomatic relations and ongoing collaboration between the two countries.
