Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre Showcases Extensive Collection at Kuwait International Book Fair

Abu dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre (ALC) is making a significant impact at the 48th Kuwait International Book Fair, organised by the National Council for Culture, Arts, and Literature in Kuwait. The event, taking place from 19th to 29th November 2025 at the Kuwait International Fairgrounds, features the ALC’s extensive collection of over 550 publications, including 90 new titles.

According to Emirates News Agency, the ALC’s pavilion features key projects such as the Kalima Project for Translation, which aims to revitalise translation efforts in the Arab world; the Esdarat project, which supports authorship and publishing across various domains like literature, history, and culture; and the Basaer (Insights) series, which focuses on research papers and studies related to the ALC’s Research Grants Programme. This programme was initiated to elevate scientific research in the Arabic language and its related fields.

The centre’s participation aims to showcase its leading publications to the public while emphasising its role in promoting the Arabic language and enhancing its global presence. The ALC stated that its involvement in the fair signifies its commitment to engaging in major cultural events, exploring new opportunities for cooperation, and fostering dialogue across intellectual and knowledge fields.
