Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange Honored for Market Capitalisation Achievement

Abu Dhabi:The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) has been recognized as the 'Arab Exchange with the Highest Market Capitalisation to GDP Ratio' for its 2025 performance by the Arab Federation of Capital Markets (AFCM) during their Annual Conference and Gala Dinner in Abu Dhabi.

According to Wam, the ADX achieved a market capitalisation-to-GDP ratio of 261.7 percent in 2025, significantly surpassing the Arab region's average of 129.9 percent. This notable achievement highlights Abu Dhabi's rapid development into a mature and globally connected capital markets hub.

Abdulla Salem Alnuaimi, Group Chief Executive Officer of ADX Group, expressed the organization's commitment to accelerating initiatives aimed at broadening market access for overseas issuers and institutional investors. He emphasized efforts to enhance market liquidity and expand listings across various asset classes, aiming to create a highly liquid platform that supports long-term institutional growth.

The AFCM Annual Conference, hosted by the ADX Group in Abu Dhabi, attracted over 600 industry participants, including global stock exchanges, capital market regulators, clearing houses, depositories, trading firms, and institutional investors.
