Belgrade: Counselor Yousef Saeed Al-Abri, Undersecretary of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, engaged in discussions with Nenad Vojic, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Serbia, to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise in judicial and legal fields during an official delegation visit to Belgrade.
According to Emirates News Agency, the delegation from Abu Dhabi included several key officials such as Ali Mohamed Al Balushi, Attorney General of Abu Dhabi; Ali Al Zaheri, Director of the Judicial Inspection Department; Abdullah Zahran, Director of Strategic Planning and Institutional Development; and Ahmed Hatem Barghash Al Menhali, UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Serbia. This high-level meeting focused on mutual interests, particularly the advancement of judicial systems, the sharing of expertise in judicial training and legal qualification, and exploring opportunities for international partnerships aimed at building legal competencies and strengthening institutional cooperation.
The discussions further delved into the digital transformation of courts and the implementation of improved procedures aligned with global best practices. These efforts aim to facilitate access to justice and ensure efficiency in case resolution. Al-Abri emphasized ADJD's dedication to fostering cooperation with global judicial institutions and leveraging pioneering experiences in modern technologies to enhance judicial performance and uphold the rule of law.
Meanwhile, the Serbian Minister of Justice voiced appreciation for the visit, highlighting the strengthening relations between the UAE and Serbia. He emphasized the significance of expanding judicial and legal cooperation, exchanging successful practices, and developing justice systems collaboratively.
