KUWAIT: The United Arab Emirates made it two wins out of two after cruising to a 13-0 victory over Northern Mariana Islands in their AFC U20 Asian CupS China 2025 Qualifiers Group C tie on Monday.
UAE, who secured a hard-fought 4-3 win over Lebanon in their opener, wasted no time in making their presence felt against Northern Mariana Islands as they took the lead in the 12th minute thanks to Yousif Ahmed.
The Whites doubled their advantage through Hazim Abbaas five minutes later before Saif Alkaabi made it 3-0 at the half-hour mark UAE furthered their advantage through Eid Mohamed Alhammadi’s strike in the 36th minute with Abbaas then netting his second two minutes later.
There was no reprieve for Northern Mariana Islands as Eid Mohamed Alhammadi struck for the UAE again in the 40th with Ghaith Bader adding their seventh in first half added time.
Northern Mariana Islands fell further behind in the second half with goals coming from Obaid Salem (51st), Ahmed Alshammari (65th) and Saif Nasser (67th).

r doubled his tally in the 90th minute before Salem completed his hat-trick with goals in the 89th and 92nd minutes to cap the emphatic win for the the national team.
