Ajman:Ajman Chamber hosted a delegation from Senegal to explore strengthening economic and trade ties, investment opportunities, and enhancing connections between their business communities. The session took place at the Chamber's headquarters.

According to Wam, the Senegalese delegation was led by Dr. Alioune Dione, Minister of Microfinance and Social and Solidarity Economy of Senegal, accompanied by Arona Fall, President of the Gulf-African Investment Chamber, and other senior officials and business leaders. They were welcomed by Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Salmeen Al Aryani, Board Member; Salem Al Suwaidi, Director-General; and Ali Rashid Al Ketbi, Executive Director of the Studies and Investment Development Sector of Ajman Chamber.

Salem Al Suwaidi emphasized Ajman Chamber's commitment to strengthening economic ties with Senegal and other African nations, underscoring opportunities for expanding bilateral trade, attracting investment, and developing business partnerships. The meeting highlighted Ajman's investment opportunities in sectors such as industry, real estate, trade, and services, along with efforts to improve the business environment for investors.

The Senegalese delegation received an invitation to participate in the Ajman International Education and Training Exhibition and the Ajman Franchise Exhibition. Both parties discussed cooperation in supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through knowledge sharing and expertise exchange.

Dr. Dione presented Senegal's economic strengths and potential areas for cooperation with Ajman's business community, focusing discussions on agriculture, food security, livestock, building materials, food processing, and packaging. The dialogue also considered organizing joint business forums to link investors and boost investment prospects in both Ajman and Senegal.

At the meeting's conclusion, Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Salmeen Al Aryani and Dr. Alioune Dione exchanged commemorative plaques and gifts, marking the occasion.
