Al-Junaid stresses need to improve institutional and service performance of Ministry of Oil

The Deputy Prime Minister for National Vision Affairs, Head of the Executive Office of the Vision Department, Mahmoud Al-Junaid, stressed the importance of improving the institutional performance of the Ministry of Oil and its affiliated institutions, streamlining procedures and providing services to citizens and stakeholders.

At today’s meeting of the Ministry of Oil and Minerals, Minister Ahmed Daris noted the importance of accommodating the guidance of the revolutionary leadership, the President of the Political Council and the Government of National Rescue in making this year 1445 A.H. a year for improving and upgrading performance levels in state institutions to ensure the delivery of services to citizens.

He pointed out that the Ministry of Oil and its affiliated institutions should be responsible for providing services and streamlining procedures for citizens. The Ministry was a sovereign and service ministry for the distribution of oil and gas derivatives and was directly linked to citizens and stakeholders.

He explained that the field visit comes within the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, the President of the Supreme Political Council and the Head of the Salvation Government, to see the progress of official working hours, performance levels, mobilization of determination and efforts of state employees, and the carrying out of their duties to the fullest.

The Deputy Prime Minister stressed the need to measure the factors affecting staff performance and develop treatments to improve their professional and managerial capacities, harmonize and integrate leadership and staff, utilize available resources to improve services and analyse results to ensure the achievements of plans and projects funded by the national vision as well as the Ministry’s plans and projects.
