Tel Aviv: Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Defence, Interior and Foreign Affairs Committee at the Federal National Council (FNC), engaged in discussions with a US Congressional delegation during a joint working visit to Israel. This visit was coordinated by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC).

According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting centered on the strategic relations between the UAE and the United States, emphasizing ongoing efforts to enhance cooperation in various sectors to benefit mutual interests and contribute to global peace and security. Dr. Al Nuaimi underscored the importance of legislation promoting coexistence and criminalizing hate speech, highlighting the significance of parliamentary diplomacy in strengthening bilateral ties.

The discussions also covered the collaborative efforts of both nations to establish peace in the region and support sustainable development goals. The meeting saw the participation of Mohamed Mahmoud Al Khaja, UAE Ambassador to Israel, Sarah Falaknaz, Member of the Federal National Council (FNC), along with the accompanying delegation.
