AMMROC and A.S. Avionics Services Forge Strategic Partnership at Dubai Airshow

Dubai: The Advanced Military Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Center (AMMROC), a prominent provider of military aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with A.S. Avionics Services SA, a Brazilian company recognized for its expertise in avionics repair and modernization. This significant agreement was formalized during the Dubai Airshow 2025.

According to Emirates News Agency, the MoU was signed by Fakir Alblooshi, General Counsel at AMMROC, and Joo Vernini, CEO and President of A.S. Avionics Services. The agreement seeks to explore a long-term strategic partnership focusing on business growth opportunities by leveraging their combined expertise in military and business aviation MRO.

The collaboration will concentrate on enhancing service offerings for fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft in both military and civilian sectors. The companies plan to evaluate potential joint initiatives in avionics repair, replacement services, modernisation programmes, and maintenance support. The primary goal is to improve aircraft mission readiness, increase operational efficiency, and expand their presence in regional and international defense markets.

Both AMMROC and A.S. Avionics Services acknowledge their technical capabilities. AMMROC offers extensive experience in military MRO operations, while A.S. Avionics Services brings over 30 years of expertise in engineering design and complex systems integration. Together, they aim to provide comprehensive solutions that address the evolving demands of modern defense and commercial aviation.

Jasem Al Marzooqi, CEO of AMMROC, stated that the partnership is a vital step towards strengthening global collaboration and enhancing advanced avionics capabilities. Joo Vernini, President of A.S. Avionics Services, expressed pride in collaborating with AMMROC and emphasized their mutual commitment to innovation and efficiency in international markets. The MoU will guide discussions and lay the groundwork for future project-specific agreements.
