Abu Dhabi:Dr. Madhu Sasidhar, President and CEO of the Hospitals Division at Apollo Hospitals, emphasized the UAE's position as a leading model for regional integration and innovation in healthcare.

According to Emirates News Agency, Sasidhar highlighted the UAE's advanced investment environment and its role in fostering healthcare advancements. At the Healthcare Leaders Summit in Abu Dhabi, he noted that Apollo Hospitals operates a high-tech clinic in Dubai for residents and GCC nationals and aims to expand regional partnerships.

The summit, hosted by Forbes Middle East at Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, was held under the patronage of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, and in collaboration with PureHealth. It featured over 100 speakers and approximately 3,000 participants, all focused on establishing global standards in healthcare excellence.

Dr. Sasidhar identified fragmentation among hospitals, pharmacies, clinics, and home-care services as a global challenge, advocating for artificial intelligence as a key technology to integrate services and enhance the patient experience.

He also mentioned that Apollo's extensive network includes more than 70 hospitals, 7,000 pharmacies, and 400 clinics, as well as diagnostic centers. The group is actively pursuing new partnerships with technology companies and healthcare providers, with Abu Dhabi positioned as a central hub for technological and medical advancements.
