The event, themed 'Role Model in Healthcare Excellence,' attracted prominent Arab healthcare figures, decision-makers, and representatives from healthcare institutions.
According to Emirates News Agency, the ceremony showcased a strong Emirati presence, with the UAE leading in both participating organizations and the number of honored healthcare institutions. This underscores the UAE's commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability in healthcare.
Sheikh Nahayan delivered a recorded address, expressing his pleasure at participating in the event and welcoming attendees to Abu Dhabi. He highlighted the Arab Hospitals Federation's role in promoting healthier and more productive lives across the Arab world by setting performance standards for healthcare institutions.
The UAE's dedication to healthcare as a crucial aspect of human development was emphasized, with Sheikh Nahayan noting the substantial investments made under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The seventh edition saw participation from 332 healthcare institutions across ten Arab countries, with 50 institutions recognized for excellence across eight dimensions. The UAE accounted for the largest share of winners, reinforcing its leadership in the Arab healthcare landscape.
The ceremony included special awards, with PureHealth receiving the 'Pioneer of Excellence in Healthcare' award, and Sally Al Rabaa recognized for 'Innovative Leadership in Healthcare Excellence.' Institutions were also honored at Platinum, Gold, and Silver levels based on their assessment results.
Concluding the event, the Arab Hospitals Federation invited hospitals across the Arab world to participate in the eighth edition, encouraging continuous excellence and credibility among patients and communities.
