Arab League Commends UN Resolution as Key to Political Solution in Gaza

Abu dhabi: The League of Arab States has affirmed that the recent UN Security Council resolution on ending the conflict in Gaza marks the beginning of a genuine political solution. This significant development underscores the extensive work required in the forthcoming phase to translate the resolution into tangible steps that benefit the Palestinian people.

According to Emirates News Agency, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, emphasized in a statement that the resolution signifies an international commitment to Gaza’s reconstruction. It includes a crucial reference to a credible path toward establishing a Palestinian state, asserting that ending the occupation remains central to resolving the crisis and achieving stability.
