Ard Al Janateen Agricultural Cooperative Association in Serwah district of Marib province on Thursday launched the second phase of their economic empowerment project in the province.
An move came aiming to distribute six solar systems to 16 farmers.
This initiative, costing 26.3 million YER, is in collaboration with local authorities, the Supreme Agricultural and Fisheries Committee, the Banyan Foundation, the Youth and Youth Care Fund, the Agriculture Office, the Agricultural Initiatives Financing Unit, and a 40% community contribution.
Director of Serwah district, Muree al-Amiri, emphasized the project’s importance for advancing the agricultural sector and boosting economic development in the region, which has suffered from systematic destruction by the aggression coalition.
He commended the association for supporting farmers through white loans, aiding agricultural progress.
