Vienna: Austria's Federal Minister for European and International Affairs, Beate Meinl-Reisinger, emphasized the significance of continuing with the Gaza peace plan and urged for consideration of additional European sanctions to address the expansion of illegal Israeli settlements in the West Bank.

According to Emirates News Agency, Meinl-Reisinger expressed concern over the developments along the Israeli-Lebanese border and highlighted the necessity for the quick implementation of the peace plan between Israel and Lebanon. She also called for an agreement on a successor arrangement for the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), whose mandate is soon expiring, affirming Austria's strong commitment to the mission.
