Bahrain Crown Prince Receives GCC Legislative Council Speakers

Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, hosted prominent legislative council speakers from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) at Al Riffa Palace. Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council, along with other speakers from the Shura, Representative, National, and National Assembly councils of the GCC states, participated in their 19th periodic meeting in Manama.

According to Emirates News Agency, Prince Salman reiterated Bahrain’s dedication to enhancing Gulf cooperation and backing initiatives that bolster the GCC’s collaborative efforts. He highlighted the necessity of building on previous successes to expand partnerships across multiple sectors, aligning with the visions of GCC leaders.

Prince Salman acknowledged the crucial role played by GCC legislative bodies in harmonizing common positions and aiding regional and international endeavors, which underscores Gulf unity and collective aspirations for ongoing prosperity.

The visiting delegations expressed their gratitude to Prince Salman for his warm reception and Bahrain’s commitment to fostering joint Gulf action, extending their wishes for the Kingdom’s continued advancement and prosperity.
