Brand Dubai Unveils Massive 11th Edition of Flag Garden at Jumeirah Beach.


Dubai: Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, has launched the 11th edition of the Flag Garden at Jumeirah Beach, Umm Suqeim 2. This year, the Flag Garden features an impressive display of 11,600 flags arranged to form aerial portraits of two prominent leaders, celebrating their contributions to the nation’s development.

According to Emirates News Agency, the 11th edition of the Flag Garden is the largest ever organized by Brand Dubai, spanning 75 meters in length and 104 meters in height. The unique design and symbolism of the Garden reflect the deep loyalty and sense of belonging felt by the people of the UAE towards their leadership, who have played a pivotal role in transforming the country into a global leader. The Flag Garden also serves as a symbol of unity among the Emirati people and is an expression of national pride during key celebrations.

Mahra Alyouha, Project Manager of Flag Garden, highlighted that over the past decade, the Flag Garden has become a landmark ev
ent attracting thousands of visitors annually. The 2024 edition of the Flag Garden aligns with significant national occasions, including UAE Flag Day on 3 November and Eid Al Etihad on 2 December. The Garden will remain open to citizens, residents, and tourists until 10 January 2025.

Last year’s Flag Garden paid homage to Dubai’s visionary leadership for their crucial role in driving the city’s progress across various sectors. The event featured portraits of several high-profile leaders, including His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, and other notable figures from the Dubai leadership.

The Flag Garden is implemented in collaboration with government, semi-government, and private sector entities. This initiative coincides with the UAE Flag Day and the 53rd Eid Al Etihad celebrations, aiming to highlight the vibrant festivities throughout the emirate from 3 November to 2 December.
