Capital Sana’a witnesses mass rally condemning crime of burning Holy Quran copies

The capital, Sana’a, witnessed on Monday afternoon a major mass rally in anger, condemnation, and rejection of the crime of burning copies of the Holy Quran, under the slogan “Popular anger against persistence in the crimes of burning the Holy Quran.”

The mass crowds condemned, in the strongest terms, the repeated crimes of burning the Holy Quran and attacking Islamic sanctities and symbols, in Sweden, Denmark, and other infidel countries.

The crowds, raising the Holy Quran copies, chanted angry slogans denouncing the West’s persistence in the crimes of burning the Holy Quran and insulting the Islamic nation and its sanctities, stressing that this crime comes in the context of the aggressive Zionist war targeting Islam and Muslims.

The participants in the angry rally expressed their categorical rejection of the persistence of Sweden and Denmark in insulting the Book of Allah (the Holy Quran).

A statement issued during the mass rally emphasized that the Jewish lobby is standing behind these malicious crimes and that Western governments have accepted themselves to be an obedient tool in the hands of global Zionism, which seeks to spread all kinds of corruption in the world.

“The Western and Jewish hatred of Islam and Muslims is a reality that manifests itself in every era, and with these crimes, all Western claims about democracy and freedom of expression fall,” the statement said.

The statement expressed the Yemeni people’s outrage at these crimes, stressing that “the Yemeni people would not refrain from any work available to support Allah, His Messenger, His Book, and Islamic sanctities.”

The statement confirmed the boycott of Swedish and Danish goods, calling on the governments of Sweden and Denmark to apologize to all Muslims and pledge not to grant licenses for burning Holy Quran copies again.

It called on the Islamic countries to hold an emergency summit in which they would advocate the Holy Quran and agree on specific policies to respond to governments that insult the Holy Quran.

The rally’s statement saluted the Arab and Islamic governments that expelled the Swedish ambassador to them, calling on the rest of the Islamic countries to take the same approach in severing relations with Sweden and Denmark.
