Dubai: EDGE entity CARACAL, a prominent regional leader in the design and production of high-performance firearms, is set to debut its newest range of commercial and hunting firearms at the Middle East Hunting Exhibition. The event is scheduled to take place at the Dubai Marina from November 7 to November 10.

According to Emirates News Agency, CARACAL will showcase its extensive line of commercial firearms throughout the annual event. This includes small-calibre ammunition from EDGE entity LAHAB LIGHT AMMUNITION, which is the sole ammunition producer in the UAE. Additionally, CARACAL will present a variety of high-end hunting rifles from Liwa Arms and Merkel, which is CARACAL’s German producer of luxury hunting rifles.

Hamad Al Ameri, CEO of CARACAL, expressed that the Middle East Hunting Expo offers an excellent platform for strengthening ties with regional shooting and hunting communities. He highlighted that the debut will feature the latest firearm technology available to professional shooters and hunts
men. Al Ameri emphasized the distinctiveness of UAE-made firearms in the global market and underscored the display of a unique collection of hunting rifles designed for superior precision and ergonomics. He added that CARACAL aims to play a vital role in the growth of the UAE’s shooting and hunting communities.

In the 9mm category, CARACAL will present the CARACAL EF and CARACAL F GEN II combat pistols, the CARACAL 2011 pistol in various configurations and color schemes, and the CMP9 submachine gun. The exhibit will also feature the ‘Liwa’ pistol, known for its gold-inlayed Arabic poem on the slide and grips adorned with cultural landmarks plated in yellow gold, rose gold, and platinum. The high-performance rifles on display will include the mission-proven CAR 816 assault rifle in different barrel lengths and the CSR 308 sniper rifle, chambered in .308 Winchester.

Merkel’s hunting rifles on show will include models such as the Helix Speedster, Helix Black, the K5 single-shot rifle, the Jaeger 10 bolt-action
rifle, Anschtz hunting rifles, and over-and-under-barrelled rifles. Additionally, Liwa Arms’ Chayeh Z20 and Chayeh Z22 ‘Saktoon’ will also be part of the exhibition.
