Chelsea announced Thursday they had signed Brazilian forward David Washington from Santos on a seven-year deal.
The 18-year-old is the Blues’ second signing from Santos following Angelo Gabriel who was loaned to Strasbourg.
The new signing can play anywhere across the forward line, but he is mainly deployed as a striker, the London-based club said.
