China Opens First Space-Science Popularization Exhibition

China Science and Technology Museum in Beijing has announced the opening of an exhibition to popularize science about China’s manned space program and its applications, which runs until June 15.

The exhibition is China’s first science popularization exhibition, spanning a display area of about 2,000 square meters, including five exhibition areas, more than 10 thematic scenes and more than 30 display pieces.

For the first time, the original scientific experiment cabinet, the Arabidopsis plant developed from seeds brought from the space station, offers interactive and immersive experiments, such as living and testing the “Shenzhou Spacecraft and Moon Homeland” atmosphere.

The exhibition is sponsored by the Technology and Engineering Center for Space Utilization under the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the China Science and Technology Museum. (QNA)
