A meeting at the Public Health and Population Office in Raymah province discussed on Sunday UNICEF interventions in the field of primary health care.
The meeting, which included the director of the health office in the governorate, Dr. Mohsen Al-Azizi, the director of the organization's office in Hodeida, Abdul-Jabbar Dini, officials of the organization's health program, Sharif Abdul-Jabbar, and the nutrition program, Ahmed Al-Rimi, reviewed UNICEF's efforts and its contribution to covering part of the needs of health centers and units in the governorate and districts.
He touched on the mechanism of strengthening partnership to ensure improving the level and quality of humanitarian services to cover the needs of the health sector in the province, especially in light of the current challenges the country is going through.
In the meeting, the director of the health office in the province stressed the importance of expanding the activities and programs of UNICEF in supporting the health sector in order to alleviate the suffering of citizens in the province.
