Dr. Al-Issa Heads Delegation of MWL on its Visit to India

The delegation of the Muslim World League (MWL), headed by the Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, is currently visiting the Republic of India upon an official invitation from the Indian government. Dr. Al-Issa’s leadership of the delegation is warmly welcomed by religious leaders of various faiths, as the MWL is an internationally recognized and respected organization.

The Muslim World League has announced that Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa will deliver a sermon (Khutba) and lead a prayer as the Imam at one of the largest and oldest mosques in the Indian subcontinent.

During this visit, Dr. Al-Issa will engage in meetings with the Indian President, the Prime Minister, senior Islamic religious leaders, and leaders from various faith communities. Additionally, he will participate in multiple events hosted by the Islamic community and various Indian communities, with the aim of fostering fraternal and friendly dialogues. These interactions seek to promote understanding, cooperation, and discussion of many topics of mutual interest.

Dr. Al-Issa’s agenda also includes meetings with several ministers, parliamentarians, and high-ranking officials, as well as participation in panel discussions organized for India’s diverse communities.
