Dubai: Dubai Chamber of Commerce, a prominent entity under the Dubai Chambers umbrella, has unveiled the Dubai Delivery Business Group to bolster the delivery sector’s growth and establish a unified platform for delivery companies in the emirate.
According to Emirates News Agency, the new Business Group is part of the chamber’s initiative to strengthen private sector representation across various industries. Currently, 106 Business Groups operate under the chamber’s umbrella, contributing to a resilient and future-ready economy.
The Dubai Delivery Business Group aims to collaborate with government entities and private sector stakeholders to discuss industry trends, overcome challenges, and seize opportunities. The group seeks to improve policy frameworks and support the delivery services sector’s long-term development.
Maha Al Gargawi, Vice President of Business Advocacy at Dubai Chambers, noted that Dubai’s delivery services sector is expanding due to digital transformation, increased consumer demand, population growth, and urban expansion. The chamber is eager to collaborate with the Dubai Delivery Business Group to represent the sector’s interests and drive sustainable growth.
The group will provide recommendations to improve regulatory frameworks, enhance sector competitiveness, and promote global best practices. It also intends to advance professional standards, encourage sustainable delivery solutions, and support smart technology adoption, including AI and electric vehicles. Additionally, the group will address workforce wellbeing, regulatory improvements, and knowledge-sharing within the sector.
