Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy Supports 582 Startups in First Nine Months of 2025

Dubai: Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, one of the three chambers under Dubai Chambers, has revealed its support in the establishment and expansion of 582 digital startups during the initial nine months of 2025. This announcement highlights the chamber's efforts to establish Dubai as a global hub for digital business and entrepreneurship.

According to Emirates News Agency, artificial intelligence was the leading sector, accounting for 21 percent of all supported companies. Other significant sectors included HealthTech, Software-as-a-Service, and FinTech, which collectively made up 17 percent of the total. Notably, international companies constituted 70 percent of the startups supported during this period.

Omar Sultan Al Olama, the Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications and Chairman of Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, emphasized the commitment to the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The focus remains on consolidating Dubai's position as a central hub in the global digital economy, fostering an agile and innovative business environment that caters to rapid technological advancements. This strategy aims to enable digital companies to thrive and expand from Dubai into global markets, enhancing the emirate's appeal for digital investment and tech talent.

The chamber's 'Business in Dubai' platform played a crucial role by continuing to support companies seeking to establish or expand their operations in the emirate. It provides access to partners, investors, and clients, with 47 percent of supported companies benefiting from establishment assistance and accelerator services, while an additional 32 percent utilized various platform-provided business support services.

Between Q1 2025 and Q3 2025, Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy issued four reports, including 'The Entrepreneur's AI Playbook', aimed at increasing awareness about artificial intelligence tools and applications for entrepreneurs. Additional reports covered the Expand North Star exhibition and foreign direct investment opportunities across technology sectors.

In the first nine months of 2025, the chamber organized 15 events to strengthen partnerships and support digital economy sectors, alongside 16 international roadshows in global markets. These roadshows, which spanned 17 cities across multiple countries, showcased Dubai's digital economy strengths and explored collaboration opportunities with key stakeholders. The chamber engaged with representatives from over 2,140 digital startups, ecosystem partners, investors, and incubators, underscoring the significance of the Expand North Star event.
