Dubai Customs discusses further cooperation with Bahraini Consul

Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, Director-General of Dubai Customs and CEO of Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, received in his office Saud Hassan Ali Al Nusuf, Consul General of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Dubai.

During the meeting, Musabih welcomed the newly appointed Consul, and they discussed means to enhance mutual cooperation and trade, and exchange of customs experience between Dubai and Bahrain.

Highlighting the depth of relationships between the two countries, Musabih said, “Bahrain is a strategic trade partner to Dubai, and our trade with our brothers in Bahrain has seen much growth over the years. We work to further develop trade through facilitation of services to enable Bahraini businesses and traders clear their shipments in shorter time with less effort, which helps in increasing their revenues and adds value to their operations.”

On his part, Al Nusuf said, “I am impressed with Dubai’s exceptional hosting of EXPO 2020 and the high level Dubai Customs reached in customs sector, thanks to the advanced infrastructure and technologies they are using. We are happy to work together to further develop our positive and fruitful cooperation, and to exchange best practices.”
