Dubai Future Forum Unveils Fourth Edition Agenda Highlighting Global Foresight and Innovation

Dubai: Dubai Future Forum, recognized as the largest global assembly of futurists, has announced the agenda for its much-anticipated fourth edition. The event is set to feature over 70 keynotes, panels, and activations, focusing on the influential forces shaping humanity's future, with a diverse programme that includes public experiences and award ceremonies honoring global pioneers in future readiness and innovation.

According to Emirates News Agency, the forum is organized by the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) and will be hosted at the Museum of the Future. It will bring together more than 200 speakers and over 2,500 participants from 100 leading institutions and organizations worldwide. The discussions will revolve around five central themes: Exploring the Unknown, Empowering Societies, Reimagining Health, Optimising Systems, and Foresight Insights.

This year, the forum is expanding beyond traditional dialogue to include interactive foresight activations utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Extended Reality (XR) technologies, such as Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) applications. These will provide participants with an experiential glimpse into the frontiers of innovation. The event will commence with a keynote address by Khalfan Belhoul, CEO of Dubai Future Foundation, setting the stage for discussions on global foresight, innovation, and human progress.

Highlighted sessions include 'Building a Regenerative Society: How Do We Redesign Our Foundations?', featuring Dr. Alaa Murabit and Indy Johar, and 'Governance for the Long Term: How Can We Ensure Intergenerational Fairness?', with Lucie Berger, Esala Nayasi, and Dr. C©cile Aptel, moderated by Dr. Florence Gaub. Other notable discussions will explore topics like decoding human consciousness, foresight capacity building, and unlocking the full power of global R and D.

The event will also feature the 'Dubai Future Solutions - Prototypes for Humanity' Awards Ceremony, celebrating innovations that contribute to a better future for humanity. On the second day, plenary sessions will focus on cities, nature, and human creativity, with keynotes from Marwan bin Ghalita and Anand Varma.

The agenda includes workshops and immersive installations, such as Future Botanica and Aura Forest, linking digital nature with physical space, alongside creative experiences like The Art of Change and Keepers of the Forest. The programme will also feature workshops on topics ranging from citizen futures assessment to storytelling for societal empowerment.

Moreover, the Dubai Future Solutions - Prototypes for Humanity 2025 initiative will showcase 100 innovative projects selected from over 3,000 global submissions. Five standout innovators will be honored and supported to develop their groundbreaking ideas into real-world applications.

The forum will also debut the Dubai Foresight Awards, celebrating visionary thinkers and innovators across three categories: Foresight Changemakers, Foresight for People, and Foresight for the Planet. Additionally, the Future Stories Awards Ceremony will honor authors inspiring future generations of futurists.

For the first time, a dedicated Book Corner will host book launches and signings, celebrating foresight literature. Preceding the forum, a Learning Day will address key topics including global security, strategic philanthropy, and urban resilience, with another Learning Day on 20th November focusing on translating foresight into action.
