Dubai:Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) has revealed details of The Challenge, a key component of Dubai Future Week, scheduled from 18th to 21st November 2026 at Emirates Towers and the Museum of the Future.
According to Emirates News Agency, the event, themed 'For the Human of the Future', is expected to gather over 10,000 participants and experts from various future-oriented sectors. The Challenge aims to bring together leading talents in artificial intelligence, robotics, and emerging technologies through interactive competitions. These competitions will test technical skills, creativity, and ideas while exploring the potential and applications of future technologies.
The event underscores a central idea of Dubai Future Week technology alone does not shape the future; the talent and creativity of individuals are crucial. The Challenge provides a practical environment for participants to test their capabilities and ideas, turning knowledge of emerging technologies into tangible applications and experiences. AI, robotics, biotechnology, and advanced computing are essential tools, but their true value lies in how people utilize them to address problems, expand opportunities, improve lives, and build future-ready societies.
Highlighting the event will be the AI Grandmaster competition, back for its third year after the success of the Global Prompt Engineering Championship 2025. This competition attracted over 3,800 applications from 125 countries. Finalists will compete during Dubai Future Week, showcasing their skills in generative AI applications to create new and unique content under time constraints, with the winner receiving a grand prize of AED1 million.
Additionally, The Challenge will include the finals of the fourth Emirates Robotics Competition, organized by Dubai Future Labs, in partnership with institutions like Rochester Institute of Technology, Khalifa University of Science and Technology, Mohammed bin Rashid Library, and the American University of Sharjah. This year, the competition will task teams with developing robotic solutions for the library sector, featuring participants from both national and international universities.
The Challenge is part of the 'How We'll Innovate' track, one of five tracks at Dubai Future Week, focusing on robotics, algorithms, and machines in technological progress, alongside AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, and more.
Dubai Future Week promises a comprehensive program, including keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, challenges, exhibitions, and various future-focused experiences throughout the city.
