Dubai: Dubai South, the largest single-urban master development focusing on aviation, logistics, and real estate, and INDU Kishore Logistics, have commenced the construction of a new facility within Dubai South’s Logistics District. This development represents a crucial step in INDU Kishore Logistics’ expansion strategy, as it aims to establish itself as a multi-industry logistics leader.
According to Emirates News Agency, the groundbreaking ceremony for the facility was attended by AbdulBasit AlMarzouqi, Deputy CEO of the Logistics District at Dubai South, and Kishore Lakhani, Chairman of INDU Group, alongside senior executives from both organizations. The facility will cover approximately 23,000 square meters and will have a storage capacity of 75,000 pallets. It is expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2025.
The facility is designed to manage spare parts of varying sizes and will utilize data-driven automation to improve processes. This will enable quick turnaround times and ensure an efficien
t flow of shipments. Mohsen Ahmad, CEO of the Logistics District at Dubai South, stated that the new facility would enhance the logistics sector and contribute to the portfolio of leading logistics companies at Dubai South. He emphasized Dubai South’s commitment to supporting the government’s vision of establishing Dubai as a prominent global logistics hub and assured full support to INDU Kishore Logistics in their expansion efforts.
Kush Lakhani, Managing Partner at INDU Kishore Logistics, highlighted the strategic nature of this investment, which is fueled by increasing demand in the automotive and aerospace sectors. He also noted the opportune timing of the project, coinciding with the expansion of Al Maktoum International Airport, and expressed gratitude for the support received from the Dubai South team.
