Abu Dhabi: EDGE entity KATIM, a leader in the development of innovative and ultra-secure communications and data protection solutions, and Indra Sistemas, a Spanish information technology and defence systems company with a global presence, are partnering to deliver cutting-edge ultra-secure communication software and hardware solutions to the Spanish and NATO markets.
According to Emirates News Agency, the announcement was signed at the International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX) 2025, currently taking place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). The agreement was formalized by Waleid Al Mesmari, President of Space and Cyber Technologies at EDGE, and Jos© Vicente de los Mozo, CEO of Indra.
Waleid Al Mesmari stated that this partnership with Indra marks a significant milestone in delivering innovative secure communication solutions to the Spanish and NATO markets. By combining KATIM’s expertise in cyber-secure communications with Indra’s extensive European defence experience, the collaboration aims to support the evolving security needs of allied nations.
