Emaar to Sponsor Prestigious G2 Godolphin Mile at Dubai World Cup

Dubai: Emaar will sponsor the G2 Godolphin Mile, the first Thoroughbred race of the prestigious Dubai World Cup meeting at Meydan Racecourse on Saturday, 28th March. With a prize fund of US$1 million, the Godolphin Mile attracts an international line-up of horses, with recent winners hailing from Japan, the US, and the UAE. In 2025, the race was won by Raging Torrent, trained by California-based Doug O'Neill and ridden by Frankie Dettori.

According to Emirates News Agency, Emaar is one of the world's most valuable real estate companies, known for its iconic creations like the Burj Khalifa and numerous developments across Dubai. The company also operates a hospitality division and a range of malls and entertainment hubs. Its luxury communities in Dubai include Downtown Dubai, Dubai Marina, Dubai Hills Estate, and several others.

Ali Al Ali, CEO and Board Member of Dubai Racing Club, commented on the partnership, highlighting Emaar's significant role in shaping Dubai's infrastructure. He noted that the iconic Burj Khalifa provides a stunning backdrop at Meydan Racecourse. Al Ali expressed pride in associating with Emaar and looked forward to welcoming their team and guests to the racecourse for this important event.

Ahmad Al Matrooshi, Executive Director of Emaar Properties, expressed pride in supporting the G2 Godolphin Mile as part of the Dubai World Cup. He emphasized the event's global recognition and its role in celebrating shared experiences that inspire communities. The G2 Godolphin Mile, sponsored by Emaar, is the second race on the nine-race card at the Dubai World Cup meeting.
