Abu dhabi: The Emirates International Endurance Village recently celebrated the landmark 25th anniversary of the Arabian mare, Mansoura. The occasion was marked by an event that underscored themes of loyalty and appreciation, acknowledging Mansoura's remarkable journey as one of the most iconic figures in endurance racing. Known for her undefeated record, Mansoura has become a legendary figure among riders and equestrian enthusiasts.
According to Emirates News Agency, the ceremony was orchestrated by EIEV PULSE, a branch of the Emirates International Endurance Village, in collaboration with the Village's sponsors and strategic partners. The event highlighted Mansoura's significant impact on sports, heritage, and human values, showcasing her association with determination, authenticity, and excellence.
The highlight of the evening was the launch of the Mansoura Visa Credit Card. This initiative was a joint effort involving Al Maryah Community Bank (MBANK), Visa, the Emirates International Endurance Village, and EIEV PULSE. The card, named after the legendary mare, symbolizes the union of Emirati equestrian heritage and modern banking. It offers users exclusive benefits, including luxury hospitality services and curated travel experiences, and can be used for payments both in and outside the UAE. It also integrates with the customer's digital wallet for easy transactions.
A special appearance by Mansoura herself added a memorable touch to the evening, as she graced the stage amid an elegant celebratory atmosphere. Her presence was a testament to the pride and admiration she inspires, having achieved a series of consecutive victories in endurance racecourses.
Key figures in the equestrian and banking sectors attended the event, including Musallam Salem Al Ameri, Director General of Emirates International Endurance Village; Mohammed Ali Al Hadhrami, Events Director at Emirates International Endurance Village; and Lara Sawaya, Executive Director of Marketing and Sponsorship at Emirates International Endurance Village.
