Emirates Islamic contributes to support number of Abu Dhabi University graduates

Emirates Islamic today announced that it had collaborated with Abu Dhabi University to financially support a number of graduates who were unable to receive their degree due to financial dues, as part of its commitment to the community.

Awatif Al Harmoody, General Manager, Operational Governance at Emirates Islamic, presented a cheque to Salem Mubarak Aldhaheri, Executive Director of Community Relations at Abu Dhabi University.

Commenting on the initiative, Awatif Al Harmoody, said, “We, at Emirates Islamic, constantly strive to provide financial assistance to those who need it. Students are our foundation for the future and supporting them today will help create a happier and more prosperous UAE in the future. The contribution is in line with our commitment to the UAE’s Year of Giving initiative, and embodies the spirit of giving according to the provisions of Shari’a.”

Through its partnership with Abu Dhabi University, Emirates Islamic will be able to help graduates obtain their degrees and find employment to support their families.

Expanding the reach of their charitable, humanitarian and community initiatives, the bank has also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Abu Dhabi University to support disadvantaged students with financial aid.
