Emirati doctor, a valuable asset to support the nation’s future: Abdul Rahman Al Owais

“Emirati Doctor’s Day” provides an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our citizen doctors and pay tribute to their efforts, as part of the leadership’s directives and keenness to provide them with all means of support,” said Abdul Rahman bin Mohammad bin Nasser Al Owais, Minister of Health and Prevention.

“Our doctors are a valuable asset to this nation and a government priority and an essential pillar of the future,” Al Owais added, underlining the efforts and dedication of Emirati doctors, who are a source of pride to this nation.

“The UAE leadership has spared no effort to advance the health sector, as part of its belief in the importance of establishing a fully-prepared and well-equipped health system. These factors helped create a stimulating and supportive environment for our doctors to unleash their energies, enhancing the country’s efficiency in dealing with health challenges. Therefore, it is imperative to support them, enhance confidence in their capacities, and provide an appropriate work environment for them, and for generations to come to continue this pioneering path,” Al Owais said.

“Our doctors value the tremendous effort and support of the leadership, which provided them with all capabilities to fulfil their humanitarian role and to return the favour to their nation. We are proud of their sacrifices for the health and safety of patients, immunising society against diseases, and providing the best healthcare, which has been and still is a source of reassurance and confidence for society, in line with the aspirations of the UAE for the next fifty years,” Al Owais said in conclusion.
