ENEC and Presight Unveil ENECIQ AI Platform to Enhance Efficiency and Knowledge Sharing

Abu dhabi: The Emirates Nuclear Energy Company (ENEC) and Presight have announced the development of ENECIQ, a pioneering AI platform designed to enhance insights, decision-making, and knowledge sharing within ENEC.

According to Emirates News Agency, ENECIQ represents a major advancement in ENEC’s digital transformation, highlighting its dedication to employing advanced technologies to boost efficiency in its corporate and support functions. The platform aims to securely incorporate AI across ENEC’s internal systems, providing intelligent assistance to employees ranging from engineers to administrative teams.

ENECIQ utilizes ENEC-specific knowledge bases to help employees create tailored insights, automate labor-intensive tasks, and achieve faster, data-driven results. The platform’s applications include summarizing technical reports, extracting insights from project KPIs and risk assessments, and offering quick access to information and procedures. By integrating AI into daily tasks, ENECIQ allows staff to focus more on innovation and problem-solving.

Developed within a secure cloud environment, ENECIQ is kept entirely separate from nuclear reactor operations systems, ensuring adherence to stringent local and international data governance and security standards.

Mohamed Al Hammadi, Managing Director and Group CEO of ENEC, stated, “The collaboration with Presight and the development of ENECIQ will help our teams with securing AI capabilities tailored to our organisation’s unique needs. Our continued focus on excellence puts us at the forefront of the nuclear industry globally.”

Thomas Pramotedham, CEO of Presight, commented, “ENECIQ sets a benchmark in innovation for sovereign agentic AI deployment within critical national infrastructure, representing one of the most advanced corporate-wide implementations.”

The initiative aligns with the UAE’s National Artificial Intelligence Strategy and Abu Dhabi’s goal to become a regional hub for secure AI capabilities. ENEC plays a key role in delivering safe, reliable, and sustainable nuclear energy, which is vital for supporting AI infrastructure and data centers crucial to the digital economy.
