Evolve Future Mobility Show Concludes Successfully in Sharjah

Sharjah: The debut edition of the Evolve Future Mobility Show (EFMS 2025), the Middle East’s first exhibition dedicated to electric and new energy vehicles, concluded on a high note.

According to Emirates News Agency, the event ran from 15th to 18th October at Expo Centre Sharjah, supported by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI).

EFMS 2025, organized by Expo Centre Sharjah in partnership with MIE Events, attracted over 5,000 visitors, including automotive industry executives and fleet operators. It brought together industry leaders, experts, innovators, and policymakers to redefine sustainable mobility’s future.

The show emphasized Sharjah’s and the UAE’s government initiatives in accelerating EV adoption and reducing carbon emissions. It aligns with the National Electric Vehicles Policy, aiming to increase EVs to 50% of total vehicles by 2050, marking a key milestone in the UAE’s clean energy transition.

EFMS 2025 showcased next-generation electric and hybrid vehicle technologies and innovative green transport projects. Exhibitors presented sustainable mobility infrastructure elements, including EV charging stations and integrated renewable energy solutions.

A major highlight was the unveiling of the A2RL Autonomous Formula 1 Car, the world’s most advanced self-driving sports car. Capable of exceeding 340 km/h, the AI-driven car represents a technological leap in autonomous mobility and motorsports.

The event featured an interactive Formula 1 simulator, providing visitors with an immersive experience of controlling a high-speed race car. Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, stated that the show’s success reinforces Sharjah’s strategic economic vision centered on innovation and sustainability.

The show offered a platform for industry experts to foster knowledge exchange and build partnerships, hosting an international summit with strong participation from EV industry leaders. The summit featured panel discussions and sessions on electric and new energy vehicle industry growth.

The Evolve Future Mobility Show spanned ten major sectors of the electric vehicle industry, including electric passenger cars, light and heavy-duty electric vehicles, and EV charging infrastructure. This inaugural event took place amid accelerating global EV adoption, with the market projected to reach USD 1.39 trillion by 2029.
