Executive Council Forms Board of Trustees for ‘Damj’ Award Led by Khalid bin Zayed

Abu dhabi: The Executive Council has announced the formation of the Board of Trustees for the Abu Dhabi Excellence Award for People of Determination Inclusion, known as the 'Damj' award. The board will be chaired by H.H. Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

According to Emirates News Agency, the board includes Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili as Vice Chairman, alongside members Sana Mohamad Suhail, Sara Awadh Musallam, Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Mansoor Ibrahim Al Mansoori, Ahmed Tamim Al Kuttab, Dr. Victor Santiago Pineda, and Dr. Layla Alhyas. The primary responsibilities of the Board of Trustees encompass management, regulation, and supervision of the award. This includes endorsing strategic plans, setting rules and regulations, and establishing nomination mechanisms.

The board will also be tasked with defining the awards, themes, and categories eligible for participation, as well as forming the jury to assess participants based on specific criteria. Additionally, the board will approve the final list of award winners and work towards enhancing cooperation with both local and international partners to achieve the award's objectives. The board aims to expand the award's impact by forming committees and teams and utilizing experts, consultants, and technicians as necessary.
