Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah has telephoned President of the Sudanese Transitional Sovereignty Council General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan to discuss the latest developments in Sudan.
Prince Faisal stressed the importance of all Sudanese sides to commit to restoring humanitarian work, protecting civilians and relief workers, and ensuring the safety of humanitarian corridors for basic assistance to be delivered.
He also renewed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s call on the parties in Sudan to abide by drive to de-escalate the conflict, take into consideration national interests, halt all forms of military escalation and find a political solution that can restore security and stability to Sudan.
